Looking For The Best Weekly Forex Calendar?
If you have an FXCM account I cannot stress the importance of the calendar section of this web site. To access the calendar click on the “Calendar” heading then on the left click on the link labelled underneath the “Weekly Focus” heading that goes something like this:
Complete Weekly Economic Calendar For Week of XX/XX/XXXX
The importance of this web site is the announcements that DailyFX have bolded.
Why are these important?
FXCM has been known not to accept entry stop orders 5 minutes prior to some announcements, these announcements are more than likely to be those bolded on DailyFX’s calendar! Therefore you now know *in advance* whether or not you can place your stop entry orders 5 minutes prior to the announcement.
You also now know in advance what to do to minimize the risk of any open positions during these volatile times and/or how to take best advantage of the extra volatility.
Every week write down those announcements to watch out for. Eventually your experience will grow on those announcements that are a MUST to watch.

UnderstandMarket also gives a very usefull calendar. Now the list is completed for me.
