MoneyTec Forum
If you are looking for a good forex forum then the best on the internet to date is MoneyTec.
When I initially began forex trading I frequently visited this forum to find out more about how to successfully trade the forex markets. While there was a lot of crap to weed through there were some hidden gems.
As you use the MoneyTec forums you will begin to find which people really know what they’re talking about and you’d be wise to either contact these people yourself (or private message them through the forum) or read what they say (or have said).
So surf the MoneyTec forums and read through some of the longer threads as I found in my experience that the longer the thread the higher the chance of finding some gems.

Wonderful resource. The content is coherent and intelligent, as it’s creator
This is a really great website with accurate information!

Just my opinion Only.
The Statement that MoneyTec being a valuable Forex Resource may have been true in the earlier days in 2001-2003 when it first launched, but it appears that in recent years as I have been reading through the moneytec and other forums, the quality of the discussion I feel has decreased and much of the Discussion I feel is now of questionable quality. More fights I’ve noticed are breaking out and it may be harder to get the answers you want, especially for newbies who do not currently know the “culture of forums” in essence the unwritten rules of the forum.
I am also becomming concerned as I continue to read through the site that the moderator of the website could be using irregular moderating procedure through the use of multiple logins to post on his own forum especically in situations where MoneyTec is being criticized by some of it’s forum users (or to perhaps put entities he has a vendetta against in a bad light) , I believe as shown by style of the posts in which they are written in. Needless to say this is only a personal observation of mind but it does put into question the Integrity of the Website as a fair, professional and equitable Resource for the discussion of Forex trading topics if this is indeed happening from my own personal stand point.
That being said, I’ve also visited many other Forex forums, and it appears that most of those are also showing signs of the similar irregularities in recent months. So Caveat Emptor, take everything you read with a grain of salt and never stop questioning.
I feel many of these forums are quickly become sources if misinformation rather than information as egos begin to dominate. I know the question will be asked, “what Forex Forum Community do you personally recommend”, Unfortunately I can not recommend any particular one anymore. It will be up to the individual Forex participant to make his own decisions regarding where to get information from with whom ever they feel comfortable with I feel.

I’ve stopped going to MoneyTec forum,
Although there are many members there, over 25,000 or so todate, 90% of them don’t post and those that do post, a small percentage of them know exactly what they are talking about, while the rest just clutter the place up.
It’s hard to find some decent conversation there these days.
Warm regards,

Discussion on this site appears to be very suspect with people using multiple logins. I am also starting to believe myself that the administrator of this site is doing this as well as one of the representatives involved with MoneyTec was booted and banned for trying to push StrategyTraderFX by stealth on someone else’s forum using several logins all linked to a user using the ISP bellsouth.net. If this is indeed happening, then the MoneyTec site has a LOT to be desired as far as a discussion board goes and the administrator really needs to explain himself

Eh?
I haven’t been on the MoneyTec forums in ages (the date of the above post is getting close to being nearly 2 years old… which is probably the last time I went to that forum!), and maybe the quality on that forum HAS died, but as for trying to push StrategyTraderFX I neither make mention of it on this site, nor imply anything about it. In fact I don’t even know what it is and will need to search Google to find out… which makes me wonder whether your comments are advertising for that company as it’s the only mention of it on this entire site!
However, to your defence I will admit that this site receives a heap of spam EVERY DAY and sometimes it slips through the cracks and I need to physically delete such junk. Be assured that I try my best at getting rid of such spam as soon as humanly possible.

Many apologies for not making myself clearer,
I was NOT talking about you or your site in anyway what so ever. I was talking about the MoneyTec forums and the Administrator of MoneyTec specifically. (who has I believe started acting dishonestly in the management of his forum and I believe was last year seen spamming some other forums using more than one ID in order to try and push his StrategyBuilderFX service)
Also, I was meant to say StrategyBuilderFX (and not StrategyTraderFX) which is connected to MoneyTec.
Once again, Please accept my apologies for the confusion.

Ah!
Thanks for clearing that up Johann.
(Now I feel stupid… more stupid than I normally am!)
All the best,

I have heard some good reviews about the forum myself. However i never registered on it but there are a lot of people out there who are extremely helpful by sharing their much needed advice and opinion from time to time.

swissfxbroker is an ECN and there is no deal desk or the scam “no deal desk” at other brokers. You are directly trading. No brokers taking your orders and trading against you. They are absolutely wonderful! Yes, you pay a commission, which is about 1-1 1/2 pips (it a $ amount based on lots and currency, ie $10 roundtrip for 10 lots on USD/CAD or USD/JPY) depending on the currency. However, most of the time you can get a 1 pip spread on the majors and I have gotten no pip spreads at times (choice), even during the heavy trading hours. It’s nice to see profit or even when you first go in instead of being 5 pips down like trading with Gain Capital. Their customer service is top notch and they are very helpful. Don’t let their platform or demo account discourage you. They have one of the worst demo accounts in terms of stability I have ever seen. However, I went live and it is a dream. The system is stable and I have not had any problems. The execution is fast and I have had no problems in getting filled or getting out of a trade. There is slippage during news releases, but I don’t trade the news and think it’s somewhat foolish to trade the news with a market order, so I don’t care. They warn you when fast market conditions are about to happen.

Mt is till one if not the best and largest when it come to leaning about forex. Most of the newer forums have tried to discredit moneytec to lead the users to their byes agendas. Don’t be fooled buy their byes smear campaigns, MT is still among the top real open forums
