Alpari’s Historical Data
Thanks to Mariusz we now have a link to Alpari’s historical forex data.
After viewing the D1 MetaStock data I found Alpari’s history to be comparable to dataHQ’s end of day forex data… and yes the data is indicative.
This FREE forex data has several advantages:
- Daily data goes back as far as 31 December 1979!!
- They have free ONE MINUTE data going back as far as 1 year
If you would like to get your grubby little hands on this data then be sure to go there NOW…

Hi Hani!
It seems to vary by only a few pips from dataHQ’s EOD forex data, therefore it is comparable to their data.
There doesn’t appear to be any holes in it either… which is good.

I have downloaded the data for GBPUSD that goes all the way back to 1979 for Meta4. How do I open this data in Metatrader.
I double click on the file and set Meta4 to open it but got nothing. Any suggestions

To Administrator or somebody else:
How do you rate Alpari as forex broker (for mini trading)?
Thanks in advance.
